RULES
One battle per UTC day. Everything below is enforced by the contract or by the oracle, not by us.
ENTRY
Entry is 9.99 USDT. You commit 7 UP/DOWN price predictions at entry — one for each round — and they are locked the moment you commit them. They cannot be changed afterwards, by you or by us.
Round 1 casualties may re-buy once, for 3.99 USDT, within 45 minutes of Round 1 resolving. One re-buy per battle, enforced on chain. The most anyone can spend on a single battle is therefore 13.98 USDT.
THE DAY
- 04:00:00 UTC — entries lock. The full sorted pick set is hashed and the digest published before any of the day's prices are knowable.
- 7 rounds of 2 hours each. Get the direction wrong and you are out.
- 18:00:00 UTC — final resolution. Settlement follows within 5 minutes.
THE SPLIT — 90 / 5 / 5
The pot is divided by the contract, on chain, in one transaction the operator cannot alter:
- 90% — survivors, split equally
- 5% — house rake
- 5% — seed, carried into the next battle
A carried seed is added to the survivors' share of the battle it lands in and is not raked a second time.
THE BLOOD RULE
If a final round kills nobody, it kills everybody. The Blood Rule detonates when all four of these hold:
- 1. It is round 7.
- 2. The round did not PUSH.
- 3. Nobody was eliminated in it.
- 4. At least 2 players entered it alive.
Every survivor is eliminated. Nothing is claimable for that battle, and the pot rolls forward as the next battle's seed.
The 5% house rake is still taken when the Blood Rule detonates. It is not waived. The remaining 95% of the gross pot carries into the next battle rather than being paid out.
THE WHALE DYNAMIC, STATED PLAINLY
A player holding many entries can split their round 7 predictions so that some of them lose — guaranteeing at least one elimination and preventing a detonation. We cannot prevent this and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
It is also economically self-defeating: every extra entry costs 9.99 USDT into the same pot they are trying to win, and the entries they deliberately lose are money spent to enlarge everyone else's share. It is a known dynamic, not a loophole.
HOW A ROUND RESOLVES
Prices come from Pyth, read at the round boundary timestamp — never at "now". A round resolves on the move between its start and end price:
- Move of less than 1 basis point in either direction — PUSH. Everyone survives. There is no tie-break rule; the band is the tie handling.
- Move up — UP predictions survive. Move down — DOWN predictions survive.
The price is refused if it is more than 60 seconds from the boundary, or if its confidence interval is wider than 50 basis points of the price. A refused price forces a PUSH — it never resolves anyone out.
2 consecutive rounds on degraded data VOID the battle: every entry is refunded in full and the rake is waived. There is no fallback price source and no human override.
MINIMUM FIELD, AND WHAT A VOID MEANS
A battle needs at least 30 confirmed entries at lock. Below that it voids itself on chain at the moment of locking.
A voided battle refunds every entry in full, and the house takes nothing. Refunds are claimed from the contract directly and never expire — there is no sweep, no deadline, and no way for us to reclaim unclaimed funds.
