Every battle hashes its full sorted pick set at lock and publishes the digest immediately — before any of that day's prices could be known. After settlement the raw picks are published too, so anyone can recompute the digest and check that nothing was altered.

WHY THIS EXISTS
Predictions are stored off chain, so without a published commitment there would be no way to show that we did not alter them after seeing prices — and no answer if someone said we had. The digest is that commitment. It costs nothing and it is checkable with a command-line tool and no access to our code.
